Choose any area of interest you have on the form on the left. Explanations are below for each area of interest:

Americanism Project
-Write article with patriotic theme each month for newsletter or carry out a patriotic project for the biennium.

Bookkeeping - Help with input and proper tacking DOL expenses and income. DOL uses QuickBooks for accounting purposes. Software is provided.

Campaign Activities-Keep records of campaign hours, organize campaign activities, keep current & aware of campaigns-local, state, & federal. Make sure TFRW points are fulfilled and reported relating to campaign activities.

Caring For America Project-Make recommendations for charitable activities and carry them out.
o Organize and carry out a community service project and promote it to the media.

Directory-Edit and get it printed to distribute to members.

Fundraising/Event Planning-Come up with ideas and develop plans on events and fundraising possibilites for DOL.

Greeter - Greet our quests at the general meetings, give handouts if any, make sure our visitors feel welcomed. Introduce new people to DOL leadership. Be a friendly face.

Historian:
1. Arranges for the Event Photographer to take photos or have photos taken at each DOL meeting/event
2. Keep a scrapbook of activities for the year

Legislative-Work with the VP Legislative to inform membership through newsletter & at meetings of current legislation and organize response to proposed, current or needed legislation.

Literacy Project-Develop & implement literacy project to fulfill TFRW requirements.

Meeting Management - Set up greeters for meetings/events. Make sure everyone has someone to sit with at the meeting. Introduce new people to Club officers and other members. Gather RSVPs, print nametags, ensure check-in staffing and instruction for all meetings/events.

Meeting Protocol-Greet officials and candidates at the door at meetings/events. Make sure they sign in on the proper sheets and have appropriate nametag with title. Help them with proper seating as needed. Introduce them to DOL officers and members.

Membership-actively recruit new members and make them feel welcome. Send welcome notes or call all meeting visitors. Distribute directories to all members. Send birthday notes. Collect information on member interests and get them plugged into DOL.

Membership Database-keep accurate records of all contact information for members, prospects, visitors to meetings provided by VP Membership. Send database address information for all emailings, newsletter mailings.

Newsletter
- Craft monthly newsletter. Get approval by the President. Help get it printed and mailed.

Notification (Phone) - Call a list of members to remind them of meetings and events. Take reservations and pass the information on to Meeting Management Chair.

Outreach Projects - Work with non-traditional Republicans groups and clubs to promote Republican ideals and the Republican platform.

Photographer-Take pictures at events/meetings and send to the picture website for viewing.

Prayer Team – Pray on weekly basis for the needs of DOL and our members.

Public Relations - Put information regarding DOL activities in local newspapers, make up meeting/event flyers for inclusion in newsletter and in emailing.

Software Application Work - Input data, provide reports using Microsoft Office applications. Adobe Acrobat is also used.

TFRW Awards – Report to the VP Campaign Activities on the status of awards and points earned per TFRW guidelines. Report monthly to the Board so that the Board knows what remains to be done to fulfill points requirements per TFRW.

Voter Registration-Participate in drive to get Republicans registered.
o Organize an on-going voter registration program or sponsor a drive during the biennium.

Website-Provide ideas, editing and acting as liaison to the Board. Keep website updated with current information. Make sure photos from current events are uploaded to the website.

Women’s Health Project-Create awareness for Women's health issues.
